Synopsis
Screwtape is a mid-level satanic bureaucrat, who is training Wormwood, a young demon attempting to lure his first soul, Mike Green, into his demonic leader’s house. Young Mike Green has very recently become acquainted with Christianity, but is still ignorant of its meaning and authority, so Wormwood, under the tutelage of Senator Screwtape, has little time to trip Mike up and get him back to his old ways and life. He is “aided” by a worrisome and fearful, overprotective mother, a new boss who is totally ignorant of her late husbands’ business affairs, a demon possessed co-worker, who cares of nothing but himself, and, of course, a new love interest, who comes with her own temptress. Though the demons must work together, it is not in their nature, and they battle each other for power in midst of it all. In the meantime, other well-meaning humans try to help and others are caught in the snare. In the end, however, the demons must concede that there is One Power greater than their Father Below, but, of course this does not stop them…
